Amitabh Bachchan has proved that he isn't called the unparalleled king of Indian cinema for nothing!

The film veteran has shown that no matter how miniscule a role is, he holds the caliber to stun, impress and even be nominated for an Oscar Award for just a mere two-minutes cameo. Now that's the kind of prowess Big B defines!

It's blink-and-miss role by Amitabh Bachchan's own admission, yet his two-minutes cameo in his Hollywood debut "The Great Gatsby" has been forwarded by producers Warner Brosto be nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category at the upcoming 86th Academy Awards.

According to a source, Amitabh Bachchan's name, along with Tobey Maguire and Joel Edgerton's has been forwarded for the Best Supporting Actor nominations.

Bachchan, who plays a Jewish financier with underworld connections and a friendly helper of Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio), has earlier played down his Hollywood debut by calling it "just a friendly gesture."

At the time Hollywood's 'Variety' magazine in its review of The Great Gatsby had stated, "By far the liveliest work in the film comes from two actors with only a few minutes of screen time between them: the lithe, long-limbed newcomer Elizabeth Debicki as gabby golf pro Jordan Baker, and, in a single scene that marks his belated Hollywood debut, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan as the flamboyant Jewish "gambler," Meyer Wolfsheim."
