Chandler Police have confirmed on Wednesday that they opened an internal investigation into the arrest of Tempe Municipal Court Judge Thomas Robinson. This investigation is in connection with domestic violence assault.

Robinson is accused of stabbing his wife multiple times in August, the two started the argument over infidelity before this incident. At that time both Robinson and his wife told that it was not any domestic violence but she was attacked by an intruder.

Robinson said to police that he doesn’t want any investigation, later he was arrested after police received a complaint on emergency crisis line from Robinson’s wife that he stabbed her.

He admitted later in the investigation that he stabbed his wife many times in anger and he even tried to dispose all the pieces of evidence and he was booked on 10 counts of aggravated assault and one count of tampering with evidence.
