Cong busy promising people

The Congress Government in the state is trying its best to attract people ahead of bypolls in 18 assembly constituencies. While a few leaders are talking big on corruption, some of them chose regional sentiments as their subjects. And the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has something else to offer…err…promise ahead of elections.

CM Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the government would be sanctioning loans to women within 48 hours and that too with zero per cent interest. He has also said that necessary steps would be taken for the disbursement of Rs. 1500 crore loan amount. He has hailed women and said that women have the capability to uproot the social evils in the society. He has also stressed that women should be educated in order to remove social stigma. Minister Sunitha Lakhsma Reddy has said that Rs. 9,127 crore loan amount would be sanctioned in association with banks.

Well, politicians making promises ahead of elections is nothing new to our country since many such promises brought several parties to power. But, we have to await and see whether people are ready to trust the Congress party since there are handful of issues that have been putting the party in a fix.
