Dhoni elevates the Forbes' list of highest-paid athletes!

Mahendra Singh Dhoni declared to have conquered the position at 16th place on Forbes' list of highest-paid athletes having earnings of $31.5 million, which has been topped by golfer Tiger Woods.

The Forbes magazine informed that the 31-year-old Dhoni elevated 15th positions this year while he was placed at 31st position in 2012 as they evaluated that Dhoni made $31.5 million over the last year from prize money as well as endorsements.

Other prominent names behind the highest-paid sport-star are 37-year-old Woods made $78.1 million followed by tennis star Roger Federer at $71.5 million. Kobe Bryant, American professional basketball player, placed on the third at $61.9 million. Federer was known to have topped the 2012 list. While the present years 100-strong list showcases just three women having outstanding tennis star Maria Sharapova leading the way with ranking No 22 with earnings of $29 million. Sharapova accompanied by No 68 Serena Williams, who raked in $20.5 million, including $8.5 million in prize money. On the other hand, China's Li Na acquired the position of 85th ranking inclusive of $18.2 million as earnings.
