Former Skipper of Indian cricket team, Ravi Shastri, has been named the interim coach for Indian team playing with Bangladesh in the neighbouring country starting on 10th of this month. He served as Team Director during Australia tour and the recent World Cup series.

"BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya has named Ravi Shastri as interim coach of the Indian team. This is for the Bangladesh tour and future decisions will be taken after this," BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur said.

Sanjay Bangar and Bharat Arun will continue their roles of batting and bowling coaches respectively for this one test and three ODIs. R Sridhar will support the team members as fielding coach.

The board has announced the teams for both Test and ODIs under the leadership of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni respectively. Harbhajan's re-entry would give a positive edge in the Test match.

TeamIndia for ODIs: Dhoni (C), Rohit, Rahane, Shikhar, Virat, Raina, Rayudu, Ashwin, Jadeja, Axar, Bhuvi, Umesh, Mohit, Binny, Dhawal.

TeamIndia for Test: Virat (C), Vijay, Shikhar, KL Rahul, Pujara, Rahane, Rohit, Saha, Ashwin, Harbhajan, Karn, Bhuvi, Umesh, Varun, Ishant.
