Google’s Gtalk messenger will live short, since after 16th February this service will be dismissed. However the software giant is upgrading Google Hangouts Messenger services for Windows users too. In consideration of this, Google already made Gtalk unavailable for downloading; users looking to download Gtalk are being redirected to Google Hangouts download page.

Gtalk messenger and interface is popular and very familiar with the users as loads better than Google Hangout on slow internet connections.

Another drawback of the Google Hangout is can operate only on its Chrome browser, by which means the users should also be bounded to Google Chrome. As WhatsApp unveiled PC version to give Google’s Messenger service a strong competition, Google is in mood to revamp its older and less featured Gtalk with its Google Hangout.

Earlier this week Google once again notified Gtalk users to upgrade to Google hangout as the app will no longer in force after Feb 16th.

We have to see how the Gtalk fans will respond to Google’s decision, since Gtalk was user friendly and could able to run on limited featured mobile device also.
