Kalyam Ram OM 3D Movie Review and Rating
Actor Kalyan Ram is on reel again after a long time. His last hit in recent times was 'Nenokkadine', but he hasn't seen much success after that. With Om, Kalyan Ram is making waves as the maker of the first 3D action movie in India. He was reportedly inspired by Steven Spielberg's concepts in Avatar and got Hollywood technicians to work for him in the movie. Kirti Kharbanda and Nikesha Patel are the lead actresses for Om, which was produced by Kalyan Ram himself under the NTR Arts banner.

Story
Beginning with his very first dialogue, the film sets the tone for a revenge drama. Kalyan Ram narrates a few scenes initially and the story promptly goes into flashback mode. The hero's father is kidnapped by a minister to cover a crime. Hero saves his dad, Harish Chandra Prasad, after an elaborate action sequence.
Both actresses lend their glamor to the story, which has a few more flashbacks and action sequences shot in 3D. It's all about getting even with the bad guys.
Analysis :
OM 3D is a very bold and successful venture by NTR Arts. The movie is very well scripted and handled with out compromising on any of the aspects. The 3D sequences were very well executed and the output of the film speaks for the hard work put into it. The movie does lack the comedy aspect of entertainment, but according to the script chosen, it would not have been apt. The movie feels a little draggy at places. Keerthi looked stunning and her chemistry with Kalyan Ram looked promising.
Performance :
All the characters were well chosen and portrayed . Kalyan ram gave his best, when compared to his previous movies. With decent music in the background, the characters are saved from the occasional forcefulness of the scenes.
Final Word: With a good use of 3D effects for some of the action scenes and some powerful punch dialogues, the movie will satisfy the masses. Over all the movie is worth the watch. Do not go to the movie with the expectation of your regular commercial entertainer, it is a pure revenge oriented action drama film.
