Am alleged tweet made by actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu on a picture of Mahesh Babu's upcoming movie '1: Nenokkadine' has left his fans red-faced.

On her Twitter page, the actress tweeted, "Saw a poster of a yet to be released Telugu film. Not only is it deeply regressive,but it's point is actually that it is deeply regressive."

In answer to this, Mahesh Babu's fans have flooded Twitter with tag #GetLostSamanthaAndSiddharth .

As per topsy.com, the hashtag #GetLostSamanthaAndSiddharth has got over 11,000+ tweets within hours. His fans are also annoyed with Telugu actor Siddharth for supporting his girlfriend Sam and demanded that the couple quit the industry.

Meanwhile, the strong response of the fans have disturbed the Telugu film industry. This hashtag, meant to spread hatred against Samantha and Siddharth, has got 19,432 tweets in just 12 hours. But the couple has not responded to single tweet and they are mum on the Prince fans' outburst against them.

“Many in the industry are wondering over what went wrong. The issue that caused the outburst is not very much clear to many. On her Twitter account, Samantha spoke about a movie poster which she felt was very regressive, but she did not make it clear on the film name. Mahesh Babu fans reportedly thought that she was referring to one particular poster of 1: Nenokkadine, which featured Prince and Kriti Sanon,” wrote a movie site.
