- shocking incident of child abuse at a Montessori Preschool in Mesa has raised serious doubts on the safety of the kids there.
According the the authorities, they had received a complaint on the faulty handling of the toddlers and young kids in the daycare. On raiding the preschool, they recovered a female toddler tied down in the sleeping area of the daycare. The incident happened in Cholla Montessori Preschool near Gilbert Road and University Drive on Thursday.
The cops rescued the child and handed her in the safe custody of her parents. They claimed that no medical intervention was warranted.
Detective Steve Berry of the Mesa Police Department tipped off that they have unearthed substantial evidence on child abuse in the daycare. The cops have questioned all the preschool employees and has cornered one suspect. The authorities are investigating her role in the school and child abuse.
The Department of Health Services have been informed. Investigations are on for now.
