Warm weather in Phoenix has made the Valley like God's paradise. While cities in United States' Midwest and East Coast are reeling in snow and ice, people in Phoenix are enjoying the balmy weather.

People can be seen in bathing suits at the pool, which seems amazing as people in East Coast are buried in snow up to their doorstep, said  Mo Hariri a student at Arizona State University. He was enjoying the pleasant afternoon weather in T-shirt, shorts and sunglasses on Thursday.

The unusual warm weather has developed due to a high-pressure system in the Valley, which will see the continuation of the warm days untill the Valentine’s Day weekend. This year, winter in Arizona has been warmer, and January 2014 was the third warmest since 1890's, when they started keeping records, in the state.
