Police have reported that a woman has died from a head-on car crash on Saturday. According to

Phoenix Fire Department officials the accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. This head-on crash occurred in close proximity of 7th Street and Greenway Parkway.

The crash resulted in a woman in her late 60s being taken to a nearby hospital in extremely critical condition while a man in his 60s was in serious condition. No further information is yet known on the cause and the situation that led up to the accident. Woman died shortly after reaching hospital and the man is still in critical condition.

It is still not clear if the man and woman were in same car or they were related. The investigations are underway and the police has requested any information on the causes that led to the accident.

The name of the victims and their identities are not yet revealed and the cause of this fatal crash is still under investigation. The cars and the details of the other people involved in the crash are not yet known.
