A young teenager named Nathan Govella wanted to help some one in need, but a 17 year old boy from Rockport- Fullton High School has become the victim of a brutal attack.

The incident took place around 1:40 am on Sunday morning, when Nathan was headed home on his bicycle,when he saw a four door white truck, pulled on one side of monkey road in Rockport.

“I stopped to see if they needed help and they said yes," Nathan wrote in a post on his Facebook Page. "I looked at what they needed help with and then they (struck) me with a jack handle (four) times to the front and back of my head (and) left me with (two) big gashes.” said Govella.

Nathan said that, a man and girl were in the truck, and the man started attacking him, when Nathan tried to offer help, the man theft his cellphone, before he drove away.

Despite the violent attack, Nathan was able to get enough strength, and made a five block trek to his aunt’s home.

Sister of Nathan Analysa Govella, said that nathan was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline, with effect of suffering from a concussion, a seizure and has several stitches, over his head and back, Govella said.
