Indian Air Force Strikes Terrorist Camps Across LOC: Reports

According to reports, Indian Air Force Fighter Jets Mirage 2000 strikes some of the major terrorist camps across the Line of Control and completely destroyed it in early hours of Tuesday, February 26.

“At 0330 hours on 26th February a group of Mirage 2000 Indian Fighter jets struck a major terrorist camp across the LoC and completely destroyed it. 1000 Kg bombs were dropped on terror camps across the LoC,” News agency ANI reported.

The Air Strikes comes almost 12 days after terror attack in Pulwama District in Jammu and Kashmir in which 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel killed and many injured.

Indian Air Force has put on high alert all air defence systems along the international border and LoC to respond to any possible retaliation from Pakistan.

Pakistan based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed carried out terror attack on February 14 in Pulwama.

Pakistan Armed Forces spokesperson Asif Ghafoor, has said on twitter, “Indian aircrafts intruded from Muzafarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot. No casualties or damage.”
