A 16-year-old boy was shot on one of his legs in a shooting incident that took place in the town of Surprise yesterday. Local police are investigating the case.

Cops reveal that juvenile walked into the fast-food restaurant - Mc Donalds, near Reems and Greenway roads and sought help after being shot in the thigh on Thursday evening.

The boy was immediately rushed to the hospital where his wounds were treated. The boy is out of danger.

The juvenile's name has been kept on hold.

Detectives are probing into what prompted the shooting and if it was a drive-by shooting.
