Fire Fighters Battling Debris Fires In Phoenix

A Fire broke out in Central Phoenix in the area of Grand Avenue and McDowell Road. Firefighters are battling with this two-alarm fire.

According to Phoenix Fire Department, the fire is at a landscaping business. It looks like they have stored a bunch of landscaping debris, bushes and Palm tree leaves that caught the fire.

Smoke was seen from miles while the crew try to put out the flames. Firefighters worked hard to surround the flames and move the debris around in order to stop the flames. They Worked hard to save homes that are next door to the business.

Grand Ave was closed Westbound at 19th Avenue because of the fire for several hours but later reopened.

More Firefighters were asked to come to the scene due to heat and size of the fire. No one was hurt.
