A 19- year-old woman seriously injured in the shooting. A 17-year was taken into custody relating to this incident. Officers were informed about this incident around 11.45 pm on Saturday near 17th and Peoria avenues.

The witness at the scene said that the teen fired shots at the car which was pulled next to him. A 19-year-old woman was sitting in the back seat of that car. She was immediately taken to the hospital.

Officers said that as of Sunday she was still in critical condition, investigators found the suspect after interviewing witnesses; they found two guns with the teenager while they were arresting.
