Ten killed in Colorado Supermarket shooting

A shooting in a supermarket in USA's Colorado killed ten people and the incident took place on Monday. Among the ten people killed, one is a cop and the main suspect is in the custody of the police authorities. Boulder police Chief Maris Herold announced the news at the press conference after the incident. The cops announced that the suspect is sent for medical tests. A shirtless man with blood on his leg is spotted running out of the store with handcuffs but the cops are yet to confirm if he is the main suspect. The cop who got killed in this tragedy is identified as 51-year-old Eric Talley. He is working with the Boulder police from 2010.

The cops are busy identifing the victims and are informing their families about the tragic incident. Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty called it a nightmare and a tragedy for Boulder County. The details of the motive behind the shooting is yet to be traced and the cops are investigating the matter currently. The incident took place in King Soopers Store in Boulder which is located 25 miles from Denver and home to the University of Colorado. Several videos of the incident are surfaced across the circles of social media. Law enforcement vehicles and officers are spotted outside the store along with the SWAT Teams. Three helicopters landed on the roof of the supermarket.

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis tweeted saying "heart is breaking as we watch this unspeakable event unfold in our Boulder community". FBI is helping in the investigation currently.
