Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set an ambitious goal for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). He said India will establish an Indian Space Station by 2035 and will send the first Indian to the Moon by 2040. Narendra Modi has called for the road map of the Moon missions and also directed the construction of a new launch pad. A space station by 2035 and a manned moon mission by 2040, are the targets before ISRO and the objectives given by the Prime Minister to ISRO.

After the successful Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya L1 missions, Modi called for a new ambitious goal including setting up Bhartiya Antriksh Station (Indian Space Station). He called to be prepared for the first Gaganyaan Mission (the Country’s first human mission). The first demonstration flight of the crew escape system through the test vehicle is scheduled for Oct 21st.

There is a big advantage when it comes to India, as we have a cost-efficient moon mission. Pawan Kumar Chandana, co-founder of Skyroot Aerospace, a start-up that developed Vikram-S, said, we have done rockets, satellites and more and only human mission is lagging behind, which will be the next level. The prestigious human mission will develop extensive opportunities for research, generate employment and will also stimulate public interest.
