Controversial rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, who has been facing flak for his lewd lyrics, has finally spoke out on his defense.

"Aapki soch gandi hai, mere gaane nahi (your thinking is cheap, not my songs)," roared rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh while speaking on Agenda Aaj-Tak, at the Aunty Police Bula Legi, Yeh Party Yuhi Chakegi session.

"My songs are based on my keen observation. I have picked these situations from my surrounding and have presented a real situation about the youth and their mindset," he explained.

Dressed in a black sherwani and diamonds studs, the Punjabi rapped spoke with flamboyance and revealed how his meaningful rap songs on Bhagat Singh never saw the light of the day.

"No one knows that I had written this Punjabi rap on Bhagat Singh. We celebrate Valentine Day, but no one remembers Bhagat Singh birth anniversary," he added, insisting that people like naughty contemporary rap songs.

His “Lungi Dance” for Shah Rukh Khan's “Chennai Express” and “Lonely” in “Khiladi 786” for Akshay Kumar were among the chartbusters of the year.

Honey is known as one of the most expensive singers, who charges a crore per song.
