Congress at cross roads, on YSR, `Prospects’!!!

The state which is mostly controlled by the High Command is right now in a perplexed state of affairs. Many things are embroiled which seem to aggravate the pains in the Congress camp. The outcome of the recent by-polls becomes a thing of the past but the lessons learnt seem to sting the leaders venomously. Firstly let us now see what is perplexing the age-old party, as per critics. Should the civic polls be scheduled before the by-polls? This feeling expressed by many leaders seems to largely speculated, and might even get a green signal from the elite Delhi `Coterie.’

The reasons are simple as per earlier census and history most civic polls are won by the ruling party. This will aid them in the image building exercise, feel reliable sources. But gone are the olden days that the electorate can be made a hide and seek affair. The media has gone beyond qualms to show intricate details into truth and false equally. This has educated the voter much and he knows pretty well to play his role while selecting the counselors, MLAs and the MPs. So this strategy might not prove that effective say critics.

Next fundamental issue that the seniors and juniors in the party are contemplating is whether the former Chief Minister Late Y S Rajashekar Reddy’s name is to be pulled in for electoral gains. While some feel that Congress has the right to use his name in the positive campaign. However some others feel that using the veteran’s name would increase the patronage to his son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. But most feel that they are indebted to the leader for their present stature and would not like to pull his name for negative issues. After so much mixed opinion in the party the best alternative is to seek the big brother over the issue.

Sources reveal that the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is to leave to Delhi, April 16, in this regards. There seems avid tussle between PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana and some other seniors who do not want to pull in the late YSR’s name (GURU BHAKTI). However some others like V Hanumantha Rao want to disgrace the veteran to garner maximum mileage, which might have roots to some earlier riff. Probably after the gyan from the centre the local leaders may plan their campaign style.  (With inputs from internet: AarKay)
