Tamil Superstar Kamal Haasan has been signing back to back movies and is taking special care on the post production and the release formalities. His latest movie Uttama Villan which released last month received critical reception but could not fare well at the box-office. He is now getting ready with his latest movie Papanasam which completed shoot long back. The movie is an official remake of Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam and it has been directed by Jeetu Joseph who directed the original version. Gowthami played the female lead in the movie.

The movie is currently in final stages of post production and Papanasam has been aimed for July 17th release all over Tamil Nadu. Ghibran composed the music for the movie and the audio of the movie has been released recently. The movie has been produced by Wide Angle Creations and Rajkumar Theatres Pvt Ltd banners. Suresh Balaje , George Pius, Rajkumar Sethupathy and Sripriya are the producers. Kamal has started his next movie Cheekati Rajyam which will start rolling from the second week of June.
