10 Ways To Treat Sweaty Hands And Feet

The hottest season of the year is here and it is a challenging time for those, who have a problem of sweaty hands and feet. This makes something as simple as shaking hands with someone a huge embarrassment.

If you are looking for ways to deal with the sweating problem, here are few effective home remedies, you must try.

1. Baking Soda


Baking soda is alkaline in nature and it can prove to be an effective remedy for sweaty hands and feet.

Mix 2 to 3 tablespoons of baking soda in warm water and dip your hands/feet for about 20 to 30 minutes. Keep rubbing them with the solution. Afterwards, pat them dry.

2. Rose Water


You can purchase organic rosewater from stores or make your own rose water by boiling rose petals in water and straining it.
Use a cotton swab to apply the rose water on your palms and feet. It has a cooling impact on your skin.

3. Cold Water


It is the simplest way, you just dip your sweaty hands and feet in cold water for 15 to 20 minutes in a day. This will relieve the problem to a great extent.

4. Talcum/Cornstarch Powder


Both Talcum and Corn starch work in the similar way as they help keep your skin dry. Just dust them on your palms and feet.

Try to use non-perfumed talcum powder, as it is better and more natural, making it safe for frequent usage.

5. Lemon


Lemon can be used in three ways to control the problem of sweaty hands and feet.

1.Take lemon and orange peels and dry them. After they turn hard and brittle, powder them. Dust the powder on your hands and feet. Store the powder in an airtight container.

2.Mix lemon juice with vodka and rub it on your hands. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and then wash it away.

3.Mix lemon juice with salt and rub it on your hands. After it gets dry, wash it away.

6. Tea Bags


Tea bags can also used to rinse or wipe sweaty hands and feet to control the problem. Alternatively, put 3 to 4 black tea bags in hot water and soak your palms or feet in it every day for 30 minutes.

7. Apple Cider Vinegar


Apply apple cider vinegar on your hands and feet and leave it to dry. Then, wash it away with water. It keeps the skin pores tight and helps to lessen sweating. Do it every day.

8. Sandalwood Powder


Sandalwood paste has always been used by people on their foreheads to keep it cool. It is known to lessen perspiration and due to this property, it is an effective remedy for sweaty palms and feet.

Mix the powder with water, lime juice or rosewater. Apply it on the sweaty patches, let it dry and wash it off.

9. Tomato Juice


Drink tomato juice every day or dip your hands/feet in tomato juice, as it has a cooling impact on the body. Tomato juice also contains sodium, which helps to keep the palms and feet dry.

10. Potato


Take potato slices and rub them against your sweaty hands and feet. Let the juice stay for some time and after that, wash it away.
