Xiaomi introduced the 15T and 15T Pro models at their worldwide launch event held in Munich on Wednesday, September 24. This new flagship pair is powered by MediaTek Dimensity processors and features a triple camera setup on the back, created in collaboration with Leica. The more advanced Xiaomi 15T Pro is equipped with a Dimensity 9400+ chipset, whereas the regular Xiaomi 15T operates on a Dimensity 8400 Ultra SoC. Both devices are fitted with 5,500mAh batteries, utilize a 3D IceLoop System for heat management, and have an IP68 rating for resisting water and dust. The Xiaomi 15T Pro supports fast charging at 90W via a cable and 50W wirelessly. The starting price for the Xiaomi 15T Pro is GBP 649 (approximately Rs. 77,000) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version. The 12GB + 512GB and 12GB + 1TB options are priced at GBP 699 (about Rs. 83,000) and GBP 799 (nearly Rs. 99,000), respectively. It comes in Black, Grey, and Mocha Gold colors. Meanwhile, the regular Xiaomi 15T starts at GBP 549 (around Rs. 65,000) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage configuration. A version with 512GB of storage is also available at GBP 549 (about Rs. 65,000). It is offered in Black, Gray, and Rose Gold colors.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro features dual-SIM capability and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2. It has a 6.83-inch 1.5K (1,280×2,772 pixels) AMOLED LIPO display, boasting a 144Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 447ppi, and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. The screen is shielded with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and is said to achieve a brightness of up to 3200 nits. The device is powered by a 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, with options for 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage capacity of up to 1TB using UFS 4.1. For photography, it is fitted with a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup that includes a Leica Summilux optical lens. The camera system has a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 900 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an aperture of f/1.62, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 5X optical zoom and OIS, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, it has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The Xiaomi 15T Pro offers a variety of connectivity options, including 5G, Wi-Fi 7, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 6, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. The device is equipped with sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, color temperature sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, X-axis linear motor, IR blaster, and flicker sensor. Moreover, it features an in-display fingerprint scanner and supports face unlock technology based on AI.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro comes with a 5,500mAh battery that can be charged at 90W as well as wirelessly at 50W. It also has Xiaomi's 3D IceLoop System to keep it cool. The phone's dimensions are 162.7×77.9×7.96mm, and it has a weight of 210g. The standard version, Xiaomi 15T, shares the same software, screen, and front-facing camera as the Pro version, along with the same IP rating. The Xiaomi 15T's display is capable of a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It operates on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra SoC, featuring a maximum of 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. On the back, the Xiaomi 15T includes a Leica-enhanced triple camera setup, which consists of a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera. The sensors and connectivity options on the Xiaomi 15T are quite similar to those on the Xiaomi 15T Pro. It also features the Xiaomi 3D IceLoop System and has an IP68 rating.
The Xiaomi 15T is equipped with the same 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging, but it does not have wireless charging capabilities. Its dimensions are 163.2x78.0x7.50mm, and it weighs 194g. The latest phones include features of Xiaomi Astral Communications, enabling users to make voice calls without needing a cellular or Wi-Fi connection.
