The Oppo K15 Pro series was unveiled in China earlier this week, introducing the initial two models in the K15 range of the tech company. A source now suggests that the Oppo K15 Pro and Oppo K15 Pro+ are also set to debut in India later this year. Nevertheless, the company has not yet verified this information. Furthermore, it is expected that both Oppo devices will come to India with the same specs and features as those launched in China. In China, both smartphones come with internal active cooling fans for managing heat. Additionally, both models have dual rear cameras, featuring 50-megapixel main cameras. A source on X, Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata), has shared that the Oppo K15 Pro and Oppo K15 Pro+ could be released in India by the Chinese phone manufacturer in the third quarter of this year. The source also says that these two phones will have the same features and specifications as their Chinese versions. However, since the company has not confirmed these details, it’s wise to remain skeptical.
This announcement comes just days after the launch of the Oppo K15 Pro+ and the Oppo K15 Pro in China on April 1, with starting prices of CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 47,000) and CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 41,000) for their entry-level models that include 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Oppo K15 Pro+ is available in colors like Cyber Wings, Origin Grey, and Photodust (translated from Chinese color names), while the Oppo K15 Pro is offered in shades such as Cyber Wing, Golden Legend, Origin Grey, and Radiant Dust. To summarize, the Oppo K15 Pro series runs on Oppo's ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. The Pro+ version features a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ (1,272x2,772 pixels) display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a pixel density of 450 ppi, support for 1.07 billion colors, a 330Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. In contrast, the Oppo K15 Pro has a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ (1,256x2,760 pixels) display, supporting a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a pixel density of 460 ppi, peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

On the other hand, the Oppo K15 Pro has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Super processor running at 3.4GHz. Both devices come with built-in active cooling fans designed to prevent overheating during gaming or other demanding tasks. The Oppo K15 Pro+ is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, while the Pro model has a 7,500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging.
