The police of Phoenix had released the identity of the hiker on Wednesday afternoon and the hiker found dead on Camel back Mountain. The incident took place on Tuesday.

The name of the hiker is Ravinder Takhar of age 48. She started her journey from Shirley, Solihaull, West Midlands, which is about two hours northwest of London. She went hiking with her son and husband at around 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday.

All of them reached the summit, but then Takhar said that she wanted to stay behind and rest for a while. Her husband and son went ahead of her on the trail. She never descended.

Hikers passing by reported that she was missing. The search crews found her body on the mountain at about 6:30 P.M. It took 5 hours for the police for searching the body.

Phoenix Police said that the death is under investigation, which is standard in such cases.

Hikers need to be very careful, especially with sun and follow their own safety rules while hiking. A park ranger of Phoenix says that safety should be a priority for any hiker.
