AZTA Ugadi 2016 celebrations conclude on grand noteTop Stories

AZTA Ugadi 2016 celebrations went on and concluded in a grand note at Indo-American foundation hall (Ekta Mandir) Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday, 17 April 2016. Ugadi celebrations in Phoenix was a grand success with hundreds of Telugu speaking people gathering together in the valley, marking the auspicious day.

The festive evening was interspersed with non-stop Indian music as well as Bollywood dances. Both kids and adults were part of the cultural programs organized by AZTA.

The-festive-evening As a part of the AZTA Ugadi function, Makutus Island and AZIndia sponsored raffle tickets at the venue for $2. They offered to win any one of the following four on the ticket including:

1)One full birthday party for free at Makutus Island

2) Whole summer entry for free in Makutus Island

3) Sarinodu Telugu movie - two tickets free from AZIndia Media.

4) Sarinodu Telugu movie - two tickets free from AZIndia Media.

The highlight of the Ugadi celebrations was people feasting on Indian delicacies while enjoying live Telugu songs. Following dinner, everyone danced to popular Indian numbers. The event is a clear evidence of the extent of enthusiasm shown by adults and kids to be one with India culture and tradition.
