Take a look of traveling tiny houses in Mesa!

Two traveling tiny houses which have been making their way west from Chicago are stopping next at Viewpoint Resort in Mesa.

The miniature houses which span less than 260 square feet, will be opened for public on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or on December 3 during the same times.

Over 10,000 people have already explored the homes as part of Thousand Trails and Encore’s Traveling Tiny House Tour.

According to Katie Doan, a spokeswoman for the tour, " 'Finn' is the more modern home, very chic. 'Rose' is the more classic one but is also very chic." "Both of the homes have a full bath and a full kitchen and a lofted sleeping area. They are full of surprising amounts of space."

The houses will make their final stop at the Camping Resort and Verde Valley RV in Cottonwood, after the Mesa viewings. The homes are registered as Rvs. It will remain there indefinitely as vacation rentals for visiting tourists.

"A big part of the thinking behind it was to allow people to essentially 'try before you buy'. While Finn and Rose are not for sale, they are a fun way to try out tiny living in a fun vacation setting," Doan said.
