Phoenix has been lending its support for the Citizenship Amendment Act that has been recently amended by the central government.
The citizenship Amendment Act is seeking to give Indian citizenship to the non-Muslim minorities which includes Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains, Buddists from the three neighboring countries Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan who have been facing religious persecution there and who have come to India on or before December 31st 2014.
The gathering is supporting the CAA as it is striving to make the misconceptions surrounding the CAA disappear and make people understand the features and the benefits of Citizenship Amendment Act.
A pro-CAA rally is being organized at Ekta Mandir, 2804 W Maryland Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85017.The gathering is scheduled on January 18th from 4pm to 6pm.
The gathering is being organized by the Indian Diaspora USA to lend the Non Resident- Indians (NRI) support to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Volunteering the gathering, giving suggestions and active participation can be helpful to make the gathering successful.
