Jennifer Lawrence will soon be called a producer for she will produce a movie. The film will be an adaptation of 'The Glass Castle', according to reports. Jennifer said that she agreed to take up the role of a producer after being persuaded by her mother.

Lawrence read the novel 'The Glass Castle' and thought that it was a good subject to be made into a movie. She had talks with Gil Netter, the producer who had the rights, and soon they were developing the movie.

Currently Destin Cretton has been roped in to direct the film. 'The Glass Castle' has been written by Jeanette Walls. The novel is about Walls' dysfunctional upbringing by her artist mother and alcoholic father.
