Importance of Surya Namaskar

  • Surya Namaskar is important for two main reasons. First thing is that it can be a great workout. You whole body stretches, muscles get toned and flexible. It is an excellent exercise for weight loss.

  • Now the benefits are not restricted to physical level, your mind gets relaxed, and gets ready for meditation.

  • Best time to do Surya Namaskar is during the time of Sun rise, with empty stomach. It is good to do Sun Salutation even during sun set.
