The report mentions that the vapour cooling will enable more effective heat management in the M6 iPad Pro. This addition might matter significantly since users could use the iPad Pro for demanding tasks and multitasking. So even with a larger area to disperse heat, a cooling system could be essential to avoid excessive heat buildup.
