Samsung Galaxy A77 and Galaxy A57 to release with Android 16

Samsung is said to be developing new Galaxy A-series phones. Recently, two models, the Galaxy A77 and Galaxy A57, have shown up on Geekbench, indicating the arrival of the next generation of this series. This is especially notable because it appears that the company is reintroducing the Galaxy A7x series after the Galaxy A73 was last seen. The Geekbench listing reveals several important details about both devices, such as they will feature the latest Android 16 operating system and Samsung's Exynos chipsets, among other things. According to the leaker Abhishek Yadav, it seems the Galaxy A7x series is making a comeback, as the Galaxy A77 has been found on Geekbench. The listing shows the phone has the model number SM-A776B and will be equipped with an unnamed Samsung Exynos deca-core processor.
This processor consists of three cores running at 2.78GHz, three more cores operating at 2.30GHz, and four cores at 1.82GHz. It is also paired with a Samsung Xclipse 940 GPU, which is the same one used in the Exynos 2400 and Exynos 2400e models. The listing additionally confirms that the new Samsung phone will operate on Android 16 and has 8GB of RAM. It achieved a score of 1673 on the single-core test and 5,597 on the multi-core test. On a different note, the Samsung Galaxy A57 has also been listed on Geekbench, providing important information. This device has the model number SM-A576B. The listing indicates that it will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1680 processor, which is the successor to the Exynos 1580 used in the Galaxy A56 smartphone. The Exynos 1680 will have one main core running up to 2.91GHz, four performance cores at up to 2.6GHz, and three efficiency cores at up to 1.95GHz.
The listing also shows that this phone has scored 1,311 points in the single-core test and 4,347 points in the multi-core test. Additionally, the Galaxy A57 will feature 12GB of RAM and run on the Android 16 operating system. However, there is currently no information available regarding when both devices will be launched.
