Tecno Pop X was introduced in India on Wednesday as a budget smartphone from the brand owned by Transsion. The device will be available for purchase in India later this week, featuring an LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Tecno Pop X has an IP64 rating, indicating it can resist dust and splashes. Similar to other new smartphone models, this device allows users to make calls to nearby people even without being connected to a mobile network. The price for the Tecno Pop X in India is set at Rs. 8,499 and it comes with a configuration of 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. It is offered in Chilly Green and Flare White colors, and the product page on Amazon shows that sales will begin on March 6 through this online platform and additional retail outlets.
As part of an introductory promotion, the Tecno Pop X will be priced at Rs. 7,749 for those who buy it with an eligible HDFC Bank card. The Tecno Pop X is a dual SIM device operating on Android 15, featuring the HiOS 15 interface. It is powered by a 12nm octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor, along with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB eMMC storage. The device has a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, offering a pixel density of 260ppi. Even though the back of the Tecno Pop X looks like it has two sensors, it actually has a single 13-megapixel camera with an f/1.85 aperture. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel front camera. With an IP64 rating, the Pop X is resistant to dust and water splashes.

On the Tecno Pop X, there is a fingerprint scanner located on the side, and the smartphone comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging, accompanied by a 10W charger in the box. Reportedly, the phone is compatible with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. Tecno has also included an IR transmitter which allows it to control home appliances. According to the company, it features a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. It measures 167.79x77. 97x8. 18mm and has a weight of 182.6g.
