Following its remarkable box office success and becoming one of the top Indian films in recent times, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has maintained its success on streaming services. The movie starring Ranveer Singh became available on Netflix Pakistan on May 14. A content creator mentioned that the platform's servers went down shortly after the film's online release because so many people were trying to watch it at once. The spy thriller quickly reached the top trending position in the nation. In an Instagram video, content creator Maviya Umer Farooqui stated, "Dhurandhar was released in Pakistan today, and the server shut down. People in Pakistan were eagerly waiting for midnight so they could all start watching the film at the same time. That shows how much excitement Dhurandhar has generated here. "
He further commented, "Whether the film tells the whole truth or not is another issue, but people in Pakistan are definitely curious about how it was made. Everyone is already aware of what Ranveer Singh's character represents. We can debate later if events similar to those shown in Lyari actually took place. "
The video displayed the film constantly freezing and buffering on Netflix. The content creator asserted that his Wi-Fi connection was functioning okay and that the issues were not because of his internet. In a subsequent Instagram update, he announced that Dhurandhar 2 had reached the top position on Netflix Pakistan. Additionally, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to premiere on JioHotstar on June 4, 2026, where a digital fan event will happen before the spy thriller is released online. Netflix has already put out a “raw and uncut” version of the sequel for international viewers.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar hit theaters on December 5, 2025, and Dhurandhar 2 was released on March 19 of this year. The series included notable actors like Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, and Danish Pandor in significant roles.
