Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G were revealed on Wednesday. The latest smartphones in the Galaxy A lineup come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen that offers a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. They showcase a triple-camera system at the back, led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. Both the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G have options for up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. These models are equipped with One UI 8.5 right from the start, and Samsung has promised to provide six generations of Android updates for the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G. They each include a 5,000mAh battery and have an IP68 rating for resistance against dust and water. The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G are now available for pre-order on Amazon, with shipping scheduled for April 2. According to the listing, the starting price for Galaxy A57 5G with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is Rs. 56,999. The model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs. 62,499. It comes in colors like Awesome Navy, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A37 5G is priced at Rs. 41,999 for the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The prices for the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB versions are Rs. 47,499 and Rs. 52,999, respectively. It is available in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, and Awesome Graygreen colors.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G operate on One UI 8.5, which is based on Android 16, and both are set to receive six generations of Android and One UI updates along with up to six years of security patches. Each phone has a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display that supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display incorporates Samsung's Vision Booster technology. While the company hasn't officially stated the processors for these new A-series devices, it is thought that the Galaxy A57 5G runs on an Exynos 1680 processor and the Galaxy A37 5G is likely equipped with the Exynos 1480 chip. Both smartphones feature up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage. For cameras, the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G have closely matched triple-rear camera setups, with the primary being a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera that has an aperture of f/1.8. The rear camera configuration of the Galaxy A57 5G adds a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 5G’s rear camera setup includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
At the front, both the Galaxy A57 5G and the Galaxy A37 5G feature a 12-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 lens. These camera setups come with various AI tools such as object removal, best face selection, filters, and editing recommendations. Additionally, both devices provide different AI-driven options like Voice Transcription, AI Selection, and Circle to Search through Google. They include an Auto Trim option for editing videos.
Samsung has included a 5,000mAh battery in both the Galaxy A57 5G and the Galaxy A37 5G. This battery is said to provide power for up to two days on one charge. The Super Fast Charging 2.0 technology is reported to charge the phones from empty to 60 percent in about 30 minutes. The Galaxy A57 5G has dimensions of 161.5x76. 8x6.9mm and weighs 179 grams, while the Galaxy A37 5G is 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4mm and weighs 196 grams.
They are equipped with Samsung's Knox Vault for enhanced security. Additionally, these phones have an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
