Latest news from the unit of Baahubali, Tollywood's most awaited Sensational Graphical Magnum Opus film, is that MAA TV has decided to take over the satellite rights of the film.
Having decided to shell out Rs 18 crores, the channel is expected to buy the satellite rights of the film. However, earlier, there were reports that Ramoji Rao had asked for the rights of the most awaited film. And Rajamouli had offered to give the rights too.
According to the sources, the formal agreement has to be reached between the parties and will be finalized in a day or two.
As per the new TRAI regulations, the amount of Rs 18 crores for Baahubali’s satellite rights is huge. It is guaranteed that the amount will be recovered totally in the long run.
