A former Goodyear coach was arrested last evening on sex charges.

The officials have gathered enough evidence against the 25-year-old Kyle Curtis DeBerry through month long investigations. He was accused of f sexual misconduct with a student.

DeBerry coached at Desert Edge High School until August 2013 when school officials suspended him and reported him to the police.

In a letter sent to parents , the school said: “This administration has been in close contact with the Goodyear Police Department and will continue to cooperate fully with their investigation. We have also placed the staff member on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.”

Berry has been put in 4th Avenue Jail and booked for luring a minor for sexual exploitation and assault.
