Vivo T5 has been introduced in some countries as the third device in the company's mid-range T5 series, alongside the Vivo T5 Pro 5G and Vivo T5x 5G. This 4G smartphone is available in two colors and has one configuration for RAM and storage. The new Vivo phone is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 6 series processor. It features a large 7,200mAh battery that allows for 44W wired fast charging. The device includes a dual rear camera setup, which is led by a 50-megapixel main camera. Additionally, it has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The cost of the Vivo T5 is MXN 5,799, which is about Rs. 32,000, for the single model that comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Currently, the smartphone can be purchased through the Vivo Mexico online store. The color choices for the Vivo T5 are Black and Golden (translated from Spanish). This new Vivo model supports dual SIM cards and operates on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It features a 6.75-inch HD+ (720×1,570 pixels) LCD display that has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, covers 83 percent of NTSC, and can reach up to 1,250 nits brightness. The company states that the Vivo T5 has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Vivo T5 is powered by a 6nm octa-core Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor from Qualcomm. This chipset includes four efficient cores running at 1.9GHz and four high-performance cores that can reach up to 2.9GHz. The smartphone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory. For photography, the Vivo T5 has a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary camera that has an f/2.0 aperture. Additionally, there is a 2-megapixel secondary camera with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the front features a 32-megapixel camera with an f/2.45 aperture, and it also includes an LED flash on the back. The Vivo T5 is powered by a 7,200mAh battery and supports 44W wired fast charging. Connectivity options for the device include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. It has a variety of sensors, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, IR blaster, gyroscope, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The dimensions of the phone are 166.64×78.43×8.39mm, and it weighs around 219 grams.
