The Oppo Find X9 series is scheduled to launch in China on October 16. The brand has already shared some details about the features of these phones and their appearance. The Oppo Find X9 series includes the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, and these models have been seen on certification sites in India and Thailand with the identifiers CPH2797 and CPH2791. A new Oppo phone was recently found on a certification platform with a model number thought to belong to the Oppo Find X9 Pro. The anticipated flagship models Find X9 and Find X9 Pro have appeared in India's Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database and on NBTC certification website in Thailand, with their respective model numbers CPH2797 and CPH2791. This suggests that the two phones may launch in these regions shortly. The Chinese technology company will officially reveal the Find X9 lineup on October 16. However, this isn't the first instance of an Oppo Find X9 series device appearing in the BIS database. Recently, the model identified as CPH2791 was discovered on the certification site in India.
Initially, this model was thought to be the standard Oppo Find X9. However, recent updates indicate that the listing was for the Oppo Find X9 Pro, and now the standard version is also being certified on India’s BIS. The company has confirmed that the Oppo Find X9 will come in three colors: Velvet Titanium, Frost White, and Mist Black, while the Find X9 Pro will be available in Velvet Titanium and Frost White options (translated from Chinese). These smartphones will use the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip along with Android 16-based ColorOS 16 software. The upcoming flagship Find X9 series will also feature a 200-megapixel (f/2.1) periscope telephoto camera on the back with a 70mm focal length. Earlier reports suggest that the standard version could have a 6.59-inch OLED flat display with a 1.5K resolution, “R-angle” curves, and very thin equal bezels. For taking selfies and videos, the Oppo Find X9 is expected to include a 32-megapixel front camera. Additionally, it might have a 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 main rear camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultrawide-angle lens, a Sony LYT600 periscope telephoto camera with an f/2.6 aperture, and a 2-megapixel “multi-spectral” lens.
