Tollywood director Chandoo Mondeti has delivered a pan-Indian blockbuster Karthikeya 2 and he went on to direct Naga Chaitanya's super hit film Thandel. Chandoo Mondeti is associated with Sithara Entertainments for 'Vayuputra', an animated film which is planned on a big-budget. The film has been put on hold due to budget constraints. Chandoo Mondeti has moved on to his next film and the project is finalized recently.

Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar has been finalized to play the lead role in this pan-Indian film. Rana Daggubati has been roped in to play a pivotal role and the pre-production work is going on currently. Karan Johar's Dharma Productions will produce this interesting film and an official announcement will be made. The shoot commences after Akshay Kumar completes his current commitments. Akshay Kumar also signed the remake of Tollywood blockbuster film Sankranthiki Vastunnam and the shoot starts soon.
